  1. Good parenting is when the parent puts the needs of there child in front of there's. Good parents are understanding and trustworthy. They allow the right balance of discipline and freedom. Parents should help there child grow into the person they want to be.

  2. Parenting is the way to act like a mother or a father. It should be done the right way. For example, holding a baby the right way, speaking to them the right way, etc,. There are many things you could do wrong while parenting. Like use drugs and drink alcohol. You could shake your baby, you could be doing something as simple as not feeding them right. Parenting the correct way is important.

  3. Parenting to me means helping your child succeed and make sure that they are succeeding in everything that they do. Parenting in an example would be like taking your child to school, helping them with homework or coaching them in a sport. Parenting might also mean helping your kids understand the important things in life such as making sure they know what is safe and what isn't safe. Parents have a big role in their kids life because with out parents, kids wouldn't know what was right and what was wrong most of the time. Parenting is also providing what is needed for your kids to survive.

  4. Parenting is mentally, physically, and economically preparing to take care and be responsible for a human being that you create/deliver. I believe that parenting is a little like having a niece or nephew you love unconditionally and buy them gifts. It is different because instead of the child belonging to your sibling it would belong to you and you would have to buy him/her everything that they would ever need to survive, more than just gifts. In order to have a child I think you would have prepare mentally, physically, and economically so that you could give them the best life possible. Parenting is the most stressful task but as well as the best.

  5. Parenting is taking care of a child that you gave birth to. You feed them give them, help them take baths if they are too young. If they are older parents should be making sure that they are doing those things. Parents buy your clothes and the things you NEED like a tooth brush and things like that. They make sure you are doing school work to graduate school. They also try and keep the kids out of trouble and not getting arrested. They love their kids for who they are and take care of them.

  6. To me, the act of Parenting is when a mother and/or a father not only takes care of a child, but also does more to help the child grow and florish. In my life, my parents have done a lot for me so that I can be successful in my life. They have taught me things outside of school that have helped me grow as a person. They have given their time and money for me so that I can learn more things that they don't know how to do. Of course, they have also done the things that makes me not want to be a parent (diapers, for example). Parenting, to me, is being there for the child that a mother and/or father has.

  7. In my opinion, the way a child is raised by their parent is the most important part of what makes them become who they are. Being a good parent would require a lot of attention, hard work, dedication, and love. I think parenting is being a mature adult that is always going to be there for their child and making sure the child is constantly reminded that no matter what the parent will always be there. It is helping the child get ready to face reality on their own and setting a good example.

  8. Parenting to me is raising a child either by yourself or with a partner; the main goal is to prepare your child for their future. Parenting is essential to ensuring you give your child the best opportunities later in life. Also, as a parent, it is your job to keep your children in the best health possible, mental and physical. Parents should put their children's needs before their needs.

  11. Parenting to me is the act of taking care of a child, and teaching a child how to behave and talk. People have different views on the way a child should be raised, but it all depends on the way a person was raised. When people see a kid misbehaving in public, and a parent reacts in a physical way, as in spanking the kid, other people think that's bad parenting, but to the parent of the child, they could be a good parent. Some people believe certain people shouldn't be parents, but maybe they just weren't ready. Everyone learns how to be a parent from the way they were raised, and everyone is raised differently.
